Fred Perry Donates £21,000 to MVT from Black Friday Fundraising Initiative

Fred Perry has announced that it will donate £21,000 to Music Venue Trust from its 2024 Black Friday fundraising initiative.

Rather than hosting a flash sale, the British clothing label chooses to donate a percentage of its net sales across Black Friday Weekend to community organisations that reflect the brand’s values and beliefs. For 2024, Fred Perry chose Music Venue Trust, Blueprint for All, Museum of Youth Culture and the Amy Winehouse Foundation to receive the donations.

Fred Perry has been a long-standing supporter of Music Venue Trust, and for the last five years, MVT has been a recipient of its Black Friday Weekend donations. In 2024, the total donation across the fundraising weekend was £85,057.40, giving each of the community organisations over £21,000 each.

Music Venue Trust would like to thank Fred Perry for their ongoing support and partnership.

“Black Friday has never really been our style. Our priority has always been to make timeless clothes that stand the test of time. And so, after the success of our previous Black Fridays, we continued our efforts to support our chosen community organisations for 2024. These organisations reflect our values of independence and diversity, and we are proud to have an ongoing relationship with each of them.”
